Course Description
In this course, students are introduced to a foundation in Latin grammar and vocabulary. Students learn to examine word order, learn Latin pronunciation, define vocab words, translate Latin to English, decline nouns, find derivatives of Latin words in English, and conjugate verbs. This course also acquaints students with Olympic gods and with the everyday life of the typical Roman and the history of Roman kings. The course sets the students’ feet on a journey as big as their imagination, with a passport to some of the world’s most exciting places.
